Co-owned and operated a multi-million dollar interior landscaping company, Plantscape House, Inc. in Orlando, FL from 1980-1996. Sold that business to a large corporation, Tru Green Chem Lawn, and managed all national sales and marketing for it's 24-city, $45 million interiorscape division from 1997-2000.

Michael joined Foliage Design Systems in 2000 and plays an active role in new business development along with providing marketing strategy and support to the FDS franchise network.

Michael is also serving his second term as President of Green Plants for Green Buildings (GPGB), a national non-profit trade organization whose purpose is to promote the use of live plants indoors.
