Our Executive V.P. Mike Lewis was recently elected to his second term as President of Green Plants for Green Buildings (GPGB), a national non-profit trade organization whose whole purpose is to promote the use of live plants indoors. Green Plants for Green Buildings is committed to informing decision makers about the significant environmental, psychological, health and productivity benefits inherent with including plants in our indoor environment. We are proud of Mike for his continued leadership in our industry!

Foliage Design Systems is pleased to announce that two of our offices were recently recognized by Interiorscape Magazine with 2010 Best Project Awards. Foliage Design Systems of Mid-Michigan, owned and managed by Greg and Jean Husby received an award for their interiorscape work at Sparrow Health System in Lansing, MI. The hospital expansion project featured specimen preserved palms underplanted with beautiful live foliage.
























Foliage Design Systems of Western Michigan, owned and operated by Scott and Jody DeVecht were recognized for their renovation of the interiorscape at the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Commons in Kalamazoo, MI. Their design included large specimen material and unique clinging vines resulting in a striking, attractive area where students relax and study.
