Shaw Industries Group, Inc., a global leader in carpet and flooring manufacturing, hosted a large-scale trade show at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida. With a reputation for innovation and sustainability, the company needed an immersive environment to reflect its brand and showcase its products across a sprawling 60,000 sq. ft. convention floor.
Challenge
The event space wasn’t just massive—it was also split into uniquely themed product showrooms like Desert Arid, Lush Tropical, and Southern Charm. Shaw wanted each room to feel distinct yet cohesive, blending natural textures with product storytelling. With a short installation window and the need to mix live and artificial foliage seamlessly, our team had to ensure the entire experience felt polished, high-end, and on-brand.
Solution
Foliage Design Systems delivered and installed over 600 plants, ranging from vining pothos and blooming orchids to towering 12-foot fiddle leaf fig trees.
- Live and replica foliage were thoughtfully combined to support both visual impact and long-term durability.
- Each showroom received a custom-curated mix of plants to match its design theme—lush tropical palms in one space, flowering bottle brush trees in another.
- Two full semi-trucks worth of plant material were transported and staged.
- Our team of up to 10 specialists completed the entire setup over a two-day installation window.

Results
