Client Overview
Hotel Signia, a luxury high-rise hotel in downtown Atlanta, was looking to create a stunning entrance feature that blended architecture with nature. The vision? A towering 45-foot green wall that would immediately set the tone for guest experience, brand perception, and sustainability.
The Challenge
This project wasn’t a walk in the park.
Installing a massive living wall on an active construction site came with tight timelines, daily coordination, and several moving parts. We had to:
- Work around electricians, plumbers, and hardscape crews
- Ensure safety and scheduling didn’t slow the build
- Source plants that could handle Georgia’s fluctuating climate and still look beautiful year-round
There was also an important decision to be made—live vs. artificial.
The team weighed the pros and cons of both, considering longevity, visual impact, and sustainability.

The Solution
In the end, live plants won.
We designed and installed a 45-foot-tall living green wall with over 3,500 carefully selected species that thrive in Atlanta’s climate and maintain their color and structure throughout the seasons.
Key elements included:
- Custom exterior-rated panel system
- Climate-resilient plant palette
- Automatic irrigation system for hands-off upkeep
- Bimonthly professional maintenance by our local Atlanta team

The Results
What was once a blank concrete wall is now a lush, living landmark in downtown Atlanta. The green wall:
- Creates a high-impact first impression for guests
- Delivers long-term value over artificial options
- Requires minimal oversight thanks to its built-in irrigation and expert care
It’s more than just greenery—it’s a statement of commitment to wellness, beauty, and sustainability.
