Moss art is living design without the maintenance. It’s made from real moss that’s been preserved to stay soft, vibrant, and green—no watering, sunlight, or trimming needed. From custom logos to full feature walls, moss art brings a natural wow factor to any space. It’s biophilic design with an upscale twist, made to impress and built to last.

Why Commercial Spaces Are Going Green (Without The Maintenance)
Here’s why moss art is a favorite for architects, interior designers, and commercial property managers:
The moss we use is preserved in glycerin so there is no need for watering or sunlight.
Studies have shown that moss art can dampen sound reducing ambient noise by up to 10db.
Moss art is a biophilic element that creates a connection to nature indoors making the environment more peaceful and relaxing. Throw your logo on there for the added branding benefit.
Because of the benefits of biophilic design, moss art can help towards earning credits for LEED and WELL certifications.
During preservation, the moss is treated with non-toxic, fire-retardant solutions and all organic matter like spores and pollen are removed—leaving behind a static, plant-based material that won’t trigger allergies or support combustion under normal conditions.

Custom Moss Wall Art FAQ
Yes, technically. To be more exact, it is preserved through a process where they extract all the sap within the live moss and replace it with glycerin to keep it fresh for years with no maintenance. Think of it like plant taxidermy.
It depends on the quality, quantity, and complexity of the moss piece. Most moss art ranges anywhere from $75/sqft for basic and simple art and can get up to $250/sqft where you have multiple varieties of moss, maybe some other preserved foliage and accessories, and a nice frame. Our prices include high quality moss shipped from over seas, an expert moss artist hand fabricating the piece, delivery, and install.
We have a few different suppliers. Some in Canada, some in Europe. Moss grows best in these regions ensuring the highest possible quality for commercial art installations.
Virtually zero maintenance is required. No watering, no sunlight, no fertilizer. But it will require the occasional dusting and in some environments it may need to be sprayed with glycerin when it gets too dry. This sometimes happens in low humidity spaces.
In the beginning, yes. Fresh moss art will smell like the outdoors for a little while but eventually the smell dissipates and it takes on the scent of the environment it is located in.
